Maharashtra Law & Justice Department has published Government Decision GR
dated 06 February 2024 for creation of 19,730 posts in
various cadres. As per the said new GR, various posts include judicial
officers, their support staff and outsourced manpower. This article provides
detailed information about the government’s decision to create 19,730 posts in
the Law and Justice Department. Do not excuse manpower and basic facilities
after approval of the proposal for the posts of lower court judges in the
state. The High Court ordered the state government to take a decision on
approval before January 5. After the high court reprimanded the delay in
approving the posts for the last 5 years after the order of the court, finally
the state government established a high level secretary committee under the
chairmanship of the chief secretary and approved the creation of 3211 posts of
judges and 12315 assistant posts and 6534 posts through external system for the
secondary courts of the state under the law and justice department. The
proposal has been sent to the cabinet meeting for approval. It will be approved
in the winter session, informed Public Prosecutor Adv. Priyabhushan Kakade gave
in the court. Taking cognizance of this, a bench of Justice Revathi Dere and
Justice Gauri Godse gave the order.
महाराष्ट्र शासन विधी व न्याय विभागाने दिनांक 06 फेब्रुवारी 2024 रोजी विविध संवर्गातील 19,730 पदांच्या निर्मितीसाठी शासन निर्णय GR प्रकाशित केला आहे. सदर नवीन GR प्रमाणे विविध पदांमध्ये न्यायिक अधिकारी, त्यांच्यासाठी सहाय्यभूत कर्मचारी व बह्यस्त्रोत मनुष्यबळ यांचा समावेश आहे. या लेखात विधी व न्याय विभागात 19,730 पदांच्या निर्मितीसाठी शासन निर्णय बद्दल सविस्तर माहिती दिली आहे. या आधी, राज्यातील कनिष्ठ न्यायालयातील न्यायाधीशांच्या पदांच्या प्रस्तावाला मंजुरी मिळाल्यांनतर मनुष्यबळ आणि मूलभूत सुविधांची सबब सांगू नका. ५ जानेवारीपूर्वी मंत्रिमंडळाने मंजुरीचा निर्णय घ्यावा, असा आदेशच उच्च न्यायालयाने राज्य सरकारला दिला. न्यायालयाच्या आदेशानंतर गेली ५ वर्षे पदांना मंजुरी देण्यास होत असलेल्या विलंबावर उच्च न्यायालयाने फटकारल्यानंतर अखेर राज्य सरकारने मुख्य सचिवांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली उच्चस्तरीय सचिव समिती स्थापन करून विधि व न्याय विभागांतर्गत राज्यातील दुय्यम न्यायालयाकरता न्यायाधीशांची ३२११ पदे तसेच त्यांच्यासाठी सहाय्यभूत पदे १२३१५ व बाह्य यंत्रणेद्वारे ६५३४ पदांच्या निर्मितीला मान्यता दिली. हा प्रस्ताव मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत मंजुरीसाठी पाठवण्यात आला आहे. त्यावर हिवाळी अधिवेशनात मंजुरी दिली जाईल, अशी माहिती सरकारी वकील अॅड. प्रियभूषण काकडे यांनी न्यायालयात दिली. याची दखल घेत न्यायमूर्ती रेवती डेरे आणि न्यायमूर्ती गौरी गोडसे यांच्या खंडपीठाने दिले.
